On 23 January 2026, I attended a batik painting session at the High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam. The event focused on cultural exchange, emphasising participation over performance. Observing a father quietly supporting his daughter, I appreciated the simplicity and significance of the experience, highlighting the value of heritage and shared creativity.
